About Lauren

Allow me to introduce myself.

I grew up in Massachusetts and proudly attended public schools through 12th grade. My mom would have it no other way, since she’s been a MA public school teacher for 25 years. My incredibly supportive husband is Jeremy Duprey and we’re proud parents of Harrison (4) and Veronica (1).

I have focused my career on people.

After receiving my BS in Biology from Harvard University, I went on to obtain my MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management.

Professionally, I built my career solving complex problems and leading organizations and people through change. Having been personally accountable for managing multi-million dollar budgets, I understand fiscal management and the tough trade offs that are sometimes necessary. I am currently an HR executive and believe that bringing people together is the key to success.

Having fun too!

I enjoy playing with our two kids, hiking throughout New England and taking trips with them to exciting new places to experience different cultures. On weekends you'll often find me at the Bar Method fitness studio in downtown Wellesley and trying new cheeses at Wasiks!

I believe in giving back and getting involved. Here's how I've done this.

  • 20 years of involvement with Best Buddies International with a focus on building relationships with, and mentoring individuals with  disabilities
  • 20 years of tutoring elementary, middle, high school and college students, ranging from MCAS prep to college level chemistry and calculus
  • Committed to advancing women in science and business through organizations such as Girls in Tech and MIT Sloan Women in Management
  • Elected member of the MIT Sloan Student Senate
  • Volunteered on global consulting projects to improve the infrastructure and services of citizens in Chile, Kenya and Rwanda
